A commission for the California Conservatory Series, Piccaresque! is a captivating four-minute-plus work for Piccolo & Piano. Premiered in September 2024 by Professor Jenni Olson at California State University Long Beach, this luminous piece is a showcase for the intermediate-to-advanced player. Highlighting musicality and sensitivity along with friendly-key technique, Piccaresque! can be performed with a live pianist, with a recorded piano track, or with a split track (click on one side, recorded piano on the other).
