The Altus 1607 is one of the most
artistically crafted flutes available. The unique design provides the benefits
of seamed .958 Britannia silver tubing throughout. The soldered seam
construction results in minimal mechanical vibration enabling the player to
better execute extremes in expression. The Altus 1607 features a .958 Britannia
silver seamed headjoint and body with Sterling silver mechanism. All Altus
professional model flutes have hand-carved headjoints by Shuichi Tanaka.
