Powell Legende Flute

Made with a Mopane Wood body, 14K Rose Gold rings, ribs, and posts, and a Sterling Silver mechanism, this flute leaves a lasting impression. The Légende is part of the new Buffet Crampon aesthetic concept combining rose gold and silver in the “Grand Siècle” style: A rare and distinguished class among wind instruments. Mopane is a member of the legume family (Colophospermum mopane) and is a well-known option for woodwind instruments. Like Grenadilla, Mopane wood comes from South Africa. While these two woods share similarities in origins, their aesthetic and acoustic could not be more different. The Légende will surprise and intrigue, offering a truly unique sound. Its projection and color separates these wooden instruments from all others.
